Acrylic on wooden board
This is definately one of the larger paintings I have done, as the board is roughly 24x17"
But I like how the horse turned out, even if it is a little disproportional, and if some of the colors look weird on camera (especially the Reds being muddled and darker than in reality) 😁 Oh, and the name comes from that saying "the calm before the storm," because I was imagining this war horse all painted and anticipating the battle (dramatic, I know).
